Day 1: Arrive in South Africa, either fly directly to Cape Town, or land in. Johannesburg and connect down to Cape Town on the same day. On arrival, you’ll be met by one of our representatives and driven to the Table Bay Hotel.
The drive from the airport to the hotel is about 40 minutes, as you drive toward the city, your view from afar will be Table Mountain, one of the most spiritual places on earth, with its heart, two oceans and the beautiful city of Cape Town at its feet. Spend your 5 nights stay at The Table Bay Hotel in a Superior Luxury Room and your stay includes breakfast. The first afternoon can be spent walking around the waterfront, enjoying the views of Table Mountains and stoping for a few ‘cold ones’ along the way.
Day 2: Wake up to the views of table mountain, head down for the famous buffet breakfast at the hotel. Your guide will come collect you at the hotel, and you will head out on your full day tour of the cape peninsula. Your day will start in the charming fishing town of Hout Bay, continue a long the beautiful Chapmans Peak and then towards Cape Point, the most southern point of the African continent. The next stop will be Simons Town and on to the penguin colonies and finally end in Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
Day 3: Today you will spend the day exploring the scenic city of Cape Town, start with a ride up the revolving cable car to the top of Table Mountain. From there you’ll head towards Company Gardens via the cultural history museum and Houses of Parliament. Next, witness one of Cape Town’s oldest traditions as you head up to Signal Hill for the firing of the noonday gun. Afterwards head towards Bo-Kaap where you will admire the colorful house in that historic neighborhood. The day end with an opportunity to visit the Two Oceans Aquarium.
Day 4: Combine wine tasting with a range of activities designed to keep you busy on a tour of the picturesque Cape Winelands. Kick off the day at the Spice Route Winery, where you can indulge your taste buds with wine and beer tasting which you can pair with local chocolate and biltong. The next stop is Le Bonheur Crocodile Farm, where you will be taken on a tour of the crocodile ponds, which house more than a thousand of the reptiles. The day ends at Spier Wine Estate, where wine tasting is combined with a visit to the Eagle Encounter birds of prey rehabilitation centre.
Day 5: Today you will be able to explore the city and surrounding areas on your own, go shopping at the V&A Waterfront, enjoy lunch in the beautiful Bantry Bay, spend the day on Clifton Beach or go watch the kite surfers in Blouberstrand. There is so much to do and we are offer many more recommendations for restaurants, bars and much more.
Day 6 – 9: After breakfast you will be collected from the hotel and driven back to the airport. On arrival, you will be met by our representative and helped with check in. From here you will take a flight from Cape Town to Hoedspruit, a small town just outside the Kruger National Park.
Once you arrive in Hoedspruit, you will be met by a representative from andBeyond and driven to the lodge. The drive will take about 90 minutes but for half that time you are in the reserve and your safari starts now! You will stay at Ngala Safari Lodge for 4 nights. Ngala is one of our favorite reserves and boasts one of the most wildlife rich reserves in South Africa, have the chance of seeing wild white lions, wild dog, leopards, herds of buffalo that as big as a thousand and so much more.
Day 10: Wake up in the morning and go on your final safari, have breakfast at the lodge and then you will be driven back to Hoedspruit where you will fly back to Johannesburg and connect on a flight back home.
Ngala offer an excellent sleep out spot in the middle of the bush, this is an incredible spot for you to immerse yourself in the middle of nowhere.
